We need YOU to a Hand at the 2025 Gold Coast Flathead Classic Setup

The countdown is on to the 2025 Gold Coast Flathead Classic, and we’re calling on our community to lend a hand with setup as we prepare for another unforgettable event.

Setup will take place on Tuesday, 30 September from 7:00 AM at the Fisherman’s Lawns (Mitchell Park), Broadwater Parklands, Southport — located on the northern side of the Northern Pavilion.

What We’ll Be Doing

We’ll need a few extra hands to assist with:

• Setting up the bar tent and equipment

• Arranging signage and banners across the venue

What You’ll Need

• Closed-toe shoes and a high-visibility vest (mandatory for site safety)

• Personal protective gear, water, and sun protection

• A willingness to help with lifting and carrying equipment

Parking

Designated parking is available nearby, but please note that council patrols monitor the area regularly. To avoid fines, ensure you park only in approved spots and follow local parking rules.

Every helping hand makes a difference, and your support will go a long way in making sure the Flathead Classic runs smoothly.
