  • 1. Promoter

    The promoter is the Gold Coast Sportfishing Club Inc., organisers of the Flathead Classic.

    2. Promotion Overview

    This promotion is a game of chance. Eligible entrants will go into the draw to win one (1) of two (2) individual 1:1 guided fishing sessions — one with Doug Burt of Tackle World Gold Coast, and one with Bo Sawyer from S Tackle, competitive angler and flathead specialist.

    3. Eligibility

    To be eligible to enter the draw:

    • Entrants must be registered as part of a team for the 2025 Flathead Classic.

    • Each individual angler within a registered team will receive one (1) entry into the draw.

    • All entries must be fully paid and confirmed before the promotion closing date.

    • Entrants must be aged 18 years or older at the time of the draw.

    • Entry is open to Australian residents only.

    4. Entry Period

    The promotional entry period begins on 1st August 2025 and ends at 11:59pm AEST on 15th August 2025, unless extended at the discretion of the Promoter.

    5. How to Enter

    • All paid and confirmed team registrations for the 2025 Flathead Classic automatically go into the draw.

    • No additional steps are required.

    • Only one entry per person is permitted.

    • Incomplete or unpaid registrations will not be considered valid entries.

    6. Prize Details

    Two (2) individual winners will be drawn:

    • Prize 1: A 1:1 fishing session with Doug Burt

    • Prize 2: A 1:1 fishing session with Bo Sawyer

    Each prize includes:

    • 1 half-day fishing experience (approx. 4–6 hours)

    • All fishing gear and tackle supplied (if required)

    • Time and date to be arranged directly between the winner and the respective angler

    • Location to be determined based on conditions, generally within the Gold Coast region

    7. Prize Conditions

    • Prize is not transferable, redeemable for cash, or exchangeable.

    • Winners must be available on a mutually agreed date within 3 months of the Flathead Classic 2025 event conclusion.

    • If the winner is unable to attend or participate on the proposed dates, the prize will be forfeited.

    • Weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances may result in date changes, as determined by the guide.

    8. Winner Selection and Announcement

    • The winners will be selected at random via a digital draw system.

    • The draw will take place on or before 17th August 2025.

    • Winners will be notified via phone and/or email within 48 hours of the draw.

    • The winners will also be announced on the Flathead Classic social media platforms and/or website.

    9. Liability and Responsibility

    • The Promoter and fishing guides accept no responsibility for personal injury, loss, or damage during the fishing experience.

    • It is the winner’s responsibility to disclose any relevant medical conditions or limitations prior to the session.

    • The winner agrees to participate in media, content, or promotional material as reasonably requested.

    10. Privacy

    • Personal details provided for team registration will be used solely for the purposes of conducting this promotion and will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy.

    11. General

    • The Promoter reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel the promotion if necessary.

    • Entry into this competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

  • Competition Organiser
    The “Win 5 Custom Switchbait Shirts Competition” (“Competition”) is organised by the Gold Coast Sportfishing Club (“Organiser”) in conjunction with Switchbait Australia (“Sponsor”).

    2. Eligibility

    • Open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over.

    • Employees (and their immediate families) of the Organiser, the Sponsor, and agencies associated with this Competition are ineligible to enter.

    • Entrants must have a valid Australian postal address for prize delivery.

    3. Entry Period

    • The Competition closes at 11:59 PM AEST on Friday 1st August 2025 (“Entry Period”).

    • Entries received outside the Entry Period will not be accepted.

    4. How to Enter
    To enter, during the Entry Period:

    1. Register your team for the 2025 Gold Coast Flathead Classic

    Limit of one entry per person.

    5. Prize

    • One (1) winner will receive five (5) custom-designed Switchbait shirts (size and design to be confirmed with the winner).

    • Total prize pool value is $250+

    • Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.

    6. Winner Selection & Notification

    • The winner will be chosen by random online draw.

    • The winner will be notified via phone and email 5:00 PM AEST on 2nd August 2025 and must respond within 72 hours.

    • If the winner does not respond in time, the Organiser reserves the right to redraw.

    7. Prize Claim & Delivery

    • Upon claim, the winner must provide full name, postal address, phone number and shirt sizes.

    • The Organiser and Sponsor accept no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected deliveries.

    8. Privacy
    Entrants agree to the Organiser’s Privacy Policy. Personal information collected will be used for the purposes of administering this Competition and, unless the entrant opts out, for future marketing communications by the Organiser and Sponsor.

    10. Liability & Release

    • To the extent permitted by law, the Organiser and Sponsor (and their officers, employees and agents) exclude all liability for any loss, damage, cost or expense suffered or incurred as a result of entering or participating in this Competition or accepting or using any prize.

    • Nothing in these Terms limits any rights an entrant may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

    11. Governing Law
    These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.

    By entering, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

  • 1. Promoter
    This competition is conducted by OMP STYLE in partnership with the Gold Coast Sportfishing Club Inc. for the 2025 Gold Coast Flathead Classic.

    2. Eligibility

    • Open to junior anglers aged 15 years or under as of the first day of the 2025 Gold Coast Flathead Classic.

    • Entrants must be able to participate in the event with a nominated teammate (two anglers per team).

    • A parent or legal guardian must provide consent for entry and participation.

    • Entrants must be able to attend the event at Southport, QLD, Australia from 30 Sep to 3 Oct 2025.

    • Employees, committee members, and immediate family of the promoter are not eligible to enter.

    3. Prize Details

    • Two (2) junior team entries are available to be won. Each team entry is valid for two junior anglers and includes full team registration, team bags, and event shirts.

    • Prize does not include travel, accommodation, boat or personal expenses.

    • Prize is transferable but cannot be redeemed for cash.

    • Winners will be drawn at random from all valid entries on Sunday 31 August 2025.

    • The draw will be conducted by OMP STYLE in the presence of a Gold Coast Sportfishing Club representative.

    • Winners will be notified via phone, email, or direct message within 48 hours of the draw, and announced on the Gold Coast Flathead Classic social media channels.

    6. Conditions of Participation

    • All winners must complete the official Gold Coast Flathead Classic registration process and provide required consent forms from a parent/guardian.

    • Winners and their guardians agree to comply with all event rules, safety requirements, and competition guidelines.

    • By entering, participants and guardians agree to the use of names, images, and likenesses for promotional purposes related to the event without further payment or compensation.

    7. General

    • The promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entries and entrants.

    • The promoter reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the competition if unforeseen circumstances arise.

    • Decisions made by the promoter in all matters relating to this competition are final and binding.

    • This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, or any other social platform.

    • Promoter
      The promoter is the Gold Coast Sportfishing Club Inc. in partnership with Liquor Legends.

    • Promotion Period
      The promotion starts on August 15th and ends at 11:59pm AEST on September 1st or when 200 vouchers have been allocated, whichever occurs first.

    • Eligibility

      • Open to teams registered for the 2025 Gold Coast Flathead Classic.

      • Only non-sponsor teams that are fully paid are eligible.

      • The offer is limited to the first 200 eligible teams.

      • Limit of one (1) voucher per eligible team.

    • Voucher Details

      • Each voucher is valued at AUD $50 and is valid for online purchases only at Liquor Legends.

      • Vouchers will be sent via email to the Team Captain using the contact details provided at registration.

      • Vouchers are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.

      • Vouchers may have their own expiry date and usage terms as outlined by Liquor Legends.

    • Responsible Service of Alcohol
      Liquor Legends supports the Responsible Service of Alcohol. You must be 18 years or over to purchase alcohol. Proof of age may be required upon redemption. Please enjoy responsibly.

    • General Conditions

      • The Promoter is not responsible for late, lost, or misdirected registrations or for any technical difficulties.

      • If the voucher is lost, stolen, or expired, it will not be replaced.

      • The Promoter reserves the right to amend, withdraw, or terminate the promotion at any time without notice.

    • Privacy
      The Promoter will collect personal information (Team Name, Captain Name, Email, and Mobile) to administer the promotion and provide it to Liquor Legends for the purpose of delivering the voucher.
