Important Exhibitor Information for 2025 Flathead Classic Sponsors
The countdown is on for the 2025 Gold Coast Flathead Classic, and we’re excited to welcome our incredible sponsors on-site at the Event Hub, Fisherman’s Lawns (Mitchell Park), Broadwater Parklands, Southport.
To ensure a smooth setup and pack-down, please take note of the following important details.
Parking & Vehicle Access
There is ample parking around the precinct, though it can get busy during business hours. Sponsors’ vehicles will be permitted into the venue for unloading and loading of display materials.
Check-In Process
Upon arrival, please check in with our Site Manager, Peter Watts. Each exhibitor will receive a short 5-minute induction covering site requirements and assistance with stand locations.
Safety Requirements
Closed-toe shoes and high-visibility vests/shirts are mandatory during move-in and move-out.
Please bring your own PPE — affordable options are available at Bunnings or other workwear retailers.
Children, guests, alcohol, and smoking are not permitted during setup.
Stand Setup & Signage
Stand positions and signage are determined by sponsorship level. Please confirm placement of any banners outside your stand with the Site Manager.
Pegs are not allowed for securing tents or marquees. Please use weights instead, as per Gold Coast City Council regulations.
All stands must be fully set up by 2:00 pm on Tuesday, 30 September.
Electrical Supply
Power will be available near each stand.
Exhibitors must bring their own extension leads, power boards, and lighting.
All electrical equipment must be tested and tagged. A licensed electrician will be available on-site for $25 per lead.
Security
24-hour security will be in place throughout the event. For assistance, contact the Site Manager at any time.
Move-In & Move-Out Times
Move-In: Tuesday, 30 September, 11:00 am – 2:00 pm
Move-Out: Saturday, 4 October, from 9:00 am

Compliance
