The Gold Coast Flathead Classic is the flagship event of the Gold Coast Sports Fishing Club and one of Australia’s best-known catch and release fishing tournaments. For three days each Spring, hundreds of anglers hit the Gold Coast waterways chasing great fishing, great mates and great memories.
With more than $200,000 in prizes, mostly random draws, every angler has a genuine chance to win. Each team also receives a massive competitor swag bag valued at around $700, packed with quality fishing gear, sponsor products and event merchandise.
Whether you fish to win, fish for fun or just want to be part of something special, the Flathead Classic is about good people, good fishing and a great atmosphere both on and off the water.
What's included in your entry fee? Three days of fishing.
Team bag with a RRP of approx $700, including a commemorative official brag mat.
One event fishing shirt per angler
Four dinners per registered angler (one per night)
More ways to win a prize than any other fishing tournament, including Champion Senior, Junior and Women’s Teams, Champion Male, Female and Junior angler, mystery length prizes, daily lucky draws and major random draw prizes (including a new boat!)
