The countdown is on as anglers across the country prepare for the most anticipated event on the fishing calendar — the Flathead Classic 2025. With ticket sales going live on Thursday, May 15, there are just 5 days left to join the official waitlist and secure early access to register.

Hosted by the Gold Coast Sportfishing Club, the 2025 Flathead Classic marks the start of a new era in competitive fishing — epic prizes, streamlined entry, and a bold new format that continues to honour tradition while embracing innovation.

Key features for 2025 include:

Waitlist members will receive first access to tickets the moment registration opens, giving them a crucial head start to secure their spot before the rush.

The Flathead Classic returns to the Gold Coast from September 30th to October 3rd, 2025, with team registrations opening May 15.
